We have all been deeply affected by the devastation in the Gulf Coast states caused by Hurricane Katrina. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are compelled to help. You may have heard that financial assistance is the most practical way to help. To that end, we will be taking up a special offering as a church community to contribute to a FEMA-suggested (http://www.fema.gov/news/newsrelease_print.fema?id=18473) relief agency from the Mosaic Boston community. If you cannot make it for this Sunday and would like to contribute to our collection/offering, please let our treasurer Celina Choi know by this weekend to arrange your contribution so we can send a single check.

We will also have a time of corporate prayer for the Gulf states this Sunday as well.
