sunday worship

Mosaic gathers weekly as a community for worship and engaging with the Word on Sunday mornings at 10:45am. We would love to have you join us! Our services are really simple, just like they were in early church.

In Acts 2:42, we are told that the earliest believers “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” That’s what we do at Mosaic. At every service, you can expect to hear a sermon from the Ancient Scriptures to interact with your mind, worship music to stir your heart, prayers to move your soul, and a community lunch to nourish your body. We believe a church is a family; therefore, we cherish the fact that our church is fairly small. Mosaic is a place where everyone actually knows your name, something pretty hard to come by in a big city. We want Mosaic to be a church that feels like coming home.

Free coffee and free lunch are provided at every service. What could be better than that? :)

We’re meeting at the YMCA of Greater Boston located at 316 Huntington Ave. in Boston (n.b. we don’t receive mail here). Here is a map to help you find your way there (click on map for larger view):

The Central YMCA is easily accessible by T at “Symphony” station (Green “E” line) and “Massachusetts Ave.” station (Orange line), and a short walk from the Hynes Convention Center station (Green “B,” “C,” “D” lines). From Cambridge, you can take the #1 bus which runs along Massachusetts Ave. from Harvard.

If you will be driving to our Sunday service, you can park at any of the metered spots on the streets in the area for free (parking meters are not enforced on Sundays). If you cannot find street parking, the YMCA has a parking lot where you can park for 3 hours at a cost of $1.50.

Here are instructions for parking in the lot, along with a map:

- To find this parking lot from Huntington Ave, drive down Gainsborough St. next to the New England Conservatory (see drawing below).
- Go past the Gainsborough Garage Parking structure, and turn right when you reach the end of the road.
- Within the parking lot, there will be spaces marked “YMCA”. Park in any of these spaces.
- Pick up a small parking ticket from the YMCA parking attendant.
- After service, pay $1.50 for the ticket at the YMCA desk near the gym.
- Upon leaving, hand the validated ticket to the YMCA parking attendant.

NOTE: We know how frustrating parking can be in Boston. So, if you have any problems finding parking, please call pastor Jan’s cell phone (617.959.4454) and we’ll be happy to “valet park” your vehicle! Seriously.

Please contact us through the inquiry page for more information.
